Welcome to the Rawkus Family.

Whether you're wearing a familiar saying that reminds you of home, gifting someone a piece of Caribbean culture or discovering the islands for the first time, we're glad you're here.

Because no matter where life takes us, a little piece of the Caribbean always travels with us.

Wear the Culture. Share the Story.

More Than a Brand. A Celebration of Caribbean Culture.

Rawkus Designs was born from a simple idea: the Caribbean has a language, humour and way of seeing the world unlike anywhere else—and it deserves to be celebrated.

From the sayings we grew up hearing to the music that shaped our communities, our culture is rich with stories that make us laugh, think and feel connected, whether we're at home in the islands or living thousands of miles away.

Rawkus Designs exists to capture those moments and transform them into premium apparel and lifestyle products that let people wear a piece of the Caribbean wherever life takes them.

Every design is inspired by the authenticity, creativity and unmistakable personality of Caribbean life.

Designed for the Caribbean. Made for the World.

We believe culture should be lived, not just remembered.

That's why Rawkus Designs is committed to creating products that celebrate Caribbean identity while supporting the preservation of its cultural heritage.

Through our sister non-profit organisation, Rawkus Arts & Culture, we support initiatives dedicated to preserving, recognising and celebrating the music, traditions and creative legacy of Trinidad & Tobago and the wider Caribbean.

When you support Rawkus Designs, you're joining a movement to ensure that Caribbean culture continues to inspire generations around the world.

The Founders

Rawkus Designs was co-founded by Jayron "Rawkus" Remy, DJ, television and radio host, master of ceremonies and one of Trinidad & Tobago's leading advocates for calypso, kaiso and local musical heritage, and Rachel Welch-Phillips, an attorney-at-law, sustainability advocate and fashion enthusiast who has lived in five countries and speaks four languages.

Together, they bring a rare combination of cultural authenticity, global perspective and entrepreneurial ambition. Rawkus has spent his career giving voice to Caribbean stories through music, media and live performance, while Rachel has built her career advising businesses, governments and international organisations on law, governance and sustainable development, and returned to Trinidad to do so meaningfully across the region. United by a shared passion for Caribbean identity, they envisioned a brand that celebrates the region's culture in a way that is contemporary, authentic and globally relevant.

Rawkus Designs takes the same wit, expressions and cultural moments that have inspired generations of Caribbean people and reimagines them as thoughtfully designed apparel and lifestyle products that connect people to their heritage through everyday life. Every collection is inspired by the humour, resilience and unmistakable spirit of home.

For the founders, this is about far more than clothing. It is about preserving identity, celebrating heritage and creating meaningful connections across generations and throughout the Caribbean diaspora.

Through Rawkus Designs and its sister non-profit, Rawkus Arts & Culture, they are committed to ensuring that the sayings, traditions and creative legacy of the Caribbean continue to be recognised, celebrated and shared with the world.
